Tenet was filmed in seven countries. One of the most iconic ones was Italy with the Amalfi Coast.

"Tenet" is a 2020 science fiction film, a spy thriller, written and directed by Christopher Nolan. The film stars John David Washington is a secret agent who must manipulate time in order to prevent World War III. The film is known for its complex narrative structure and mind-bending time inversion concept. "Tenet" received positive reviews from critics and was praised for its originality and visual effects.

What about another iconic film, "Wonder Woman"! A 2017 superhero film directed by Patty Jenkins. The film follows Diana, princess of the Amazons, as she leaves her home to help fight in World War I and discovers her true destiny as Wonder Woman.

The film received critical acclaim for its direction, performances, action sequences, and portrayal of a strong female superhero. It was also a commercial success, grossing over $821 million worldwide. "Wonder Woman" was praised for its empowering message and positive representation of women in film.

"Sotto il sole della Toscana" is a 2003 Italian drama film directed by Audrey Wells, based on the homonymous novel by Frances Mayes. The story follows a middle-aged American woman who decides to buy a villa in Tuscany to start a new life after a recent divorce.

Although the Amalfi Coast is not the main location of the film "Sotto il sole della Toscana", it could still be the ideal place for a romantic and relaxing holiday after a divorce, as the protagonist of the film sought in Tuscany.

The gorgeous the Amalfi Coast serves as the backdrop for Mr. Ripley, a psychological thriller film directed by Anthony Minghella, based on the 1955 novel "The Talented Mr. Ripley" by Patricia Highsmith. The film stars Matt Damon as Tom Ripley, a young man who becomes obsessed with the luxurious life of a wealthy playboy named Dickie Greenleaf, played by Jude Law. Tom manages to infiltrate Dickie's inner circle and befriends him, but his infatuation quickly turns sinister as he becomes willing to do anything to maintain his newluxurious lifestyle. As Tom's lies and deceit spiral out of control, he becomes entangled in a web of murder and betrayal.

The stunning scenery of the Amalfi Coast, with its picturesque cliffside villages and crystal-clear blue waters, provides a striking contrast to the dark and twisted events that unfold in the film. From the charming town of Positano to the historic ruins of Pompeii, the setting of the film perfectly captures the allure and danger of Ripley's world.

As Ripley's deception and manipulation spiral out of control, the beauty of the Amalfi Coast serves as a haunting backdrop to the film's tense and suspenseful narrative.  Overall, Mr. Ripley is a gripping and chilling exploration of the dark side of human nature and the lengths people will go to achieve their desires.

- Positano: Many movie scenes were shot here, with its charming alleys, colorful houses and beautiful sea views. Famous for being the location of many films, including "Sottosopra" of 2001 and "Vacanze ai Caraibi" of 2015.                            

- Ravello: located on top of a hill, with its charming medieval village and its beautiful gardens with a panoramic view of the coast, was chosen as a set for films such as "L'immorale" in 1967 and "Che bella giornata" in 2011.  And Villa Cimbrone in Ravello: with its famous Italian garden and the Infinity terrace, it was chosen as a set for films such as "Questione di cuore" in 2009 and "Sirens" in 1993.

-Maiori: the beaches of Maiori have often been the backdrop for the scenes of films set on the Amalfi Coast, with their golden sand and crystal-clear waters.

- Amalfi: with its historic cathedral and its picturesque streets, thanks to its charming old town, it was the location of films such as "Mediterraneo" in 1991 and "Napoli velata" in 2017.                             

- Praiano: with its hidden beaches and enchanting sea views, was the location of films such as "Love at First Sight" in 1990 and "The Young Fabulous" in 2014.                    

- Capri: the island famous for its stacks and the Blue Grotto was the location of films such as "La dolce vita" of 1960 and "Vacanze ad Ischia" of 1957.                             

We are no actors or Hollywood stars, but a vacation on the Amalfi Coast is what can make us dream and impersonate that kind of lifestyle they were living that exact moment of the film.
