Luxury boats are the pinnacle of nautical design and comfort on board. These vessels are designed to offer an excellent sailing experience, combining high performance with refined finishes.

Each boat has a structure that helps customers choose according to their needs.

This is also the reason why our fleet is various.

Our Fleet.

Let us introduce you to our newest Gozzo Vittoria, a classic Gozzo Amalfitano.

But what is a Gozzo Amalfitano?
Gozzo Amalfitano is a traditional fishing boat typical of the Amalfi Coast. These wooden boats have a distinctive design characterized by a high and tapered bow, which allows them to sail even in rough waters.

Traditionally, the gozzos were used by local fishermen for their daily work, but they have also become symbols of coastal tourism over time. Today, many of them are used for excursions along the coast, allowing visitors to discover the wonders of the Amalfi coast, such as hidden coves, sea caves, and picturesque coastal villages.

Indeed, they can be rented for sea trips, and tourists often take part in excursions that include swimming stops, fishing, or visiting places like Capri, Positano, or Amalfi.

In addition to their functionality, they are also an essential element of local culture and tradition, testifying to the craftsmanship of the builders. For more info about Gozzo click here

The history of our Motorboats.

If you’re interested in a larger and faster boat with a different design, our selection of Tornados can meet your needs.

Our motorboats are all named after the owner’s children’s names: Pasquale, Federico, and Giorgia. The boat for his little daughter Carola is still in progress, but you will find the updates on our website.

Ghibli Bellavita 40 – PJ: It is dedicated to the owner’s first son, who, as the tradition in southern Italy, also has the same name as the owner’s father. So P is for Pasquale (grandfather and grandson), and J is for Junior. This is a little widespread boat with an elegant design to accommodate families, and that’s also the reason for the side rail, which provides excellent safety for children on board.

Tornado 38 – FJ: Built for the second son, Federico, to support the PJ, they were built with similar lengths to sail together in the coast waters. This modern, elegant, spacious motorboat has a large cabin and comfortable sunbathing.

Tornado 44 – GJ: After two years, we expanded our fleet with a third boat, more significant in width and length. This boat takes its name from the owner’s third daughter, the first female Giorgia. With this boat, we offer a more luxurious service for families who need more assistance during the day. A hostess on board helps customers enjoy their tour along the coast or towards Capri.

But it was in 2023 that the owner’s dream came true.

-The Magnum Supremus 50 – Lady Rose, 16 meters/52 feet long. This boat is where you can sleep, have breakfast, and enjoy a personal chef who will cook typical dishes on the Amalfi coast, all staying on board, anchored offshore, or parked at the port.

This boat is named after the owner’s mother, Rosa (Lady Rose). For 40 years, she worked passionately and dedicatedly in the family yard with her husband, Pasquale.

Stay tuned as another boat that surpasses dreams and ambitions will arrive.

We care about our fleet.

Our advantage is the work in our shipyard. Being passed down from generation to generation, as in this case from Pasquale to Francesco, we guarantee constant care and detailed maintenance of each boat to solve any problems that might happen in the open sea.

This is the backstage of what might seem like a regular job but is a result of ambitions, sacrifices, hard and constant work, and years and years of patience behind the loved ones to help them reach the summit of their dreams by cutting through increasingly essential milestones.

Looking for a private boat tour along the cost at sunset?

The Amalfi Coast at sunset is a breathtaking experience that combines the beauty of the landscape with the warm colors of the sky. The warm colors of the sun setting on the horizon blend with the blue and turquoise tones of the sea, creating a spectacle of light and shadow. The coastal towns of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello offer panoramic views, with their picturesque houses overlooking the sea that shine at sunset. Limestone cliffs, crystal clear waters and lemon terraces create a romantic and enchanting atmosphere.

Many visitors like to walk along the coast, perhaps enjoying an aperitif in a restaurant with panoramic views, while the sky is tinged with vibrant colors. Boats moving slowly in the calm waters and the sound of waves crashing on the beach complete this dream scenario.

Others do prefer to live this experience directly from the boat, avoiding the chaos and typical crowded places of the coast.

It is difficult to say which is the most beautiful place to see the sunset in coastal, there are those who think the best is Ravello and those who instead consider it are Positano e Praiano or even from the Path of the Gods, that connects Agerola to Positano, you can experience enchanting moments. It is ideal for a romantic walk or simply to stop and contemplate the beauty of nature.

Holding the title as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the dramatic cliffs and turquoise seas have been attracting people to the Amalfi Coast for millennia. The mild climate and unmistakable architecture have made it one of the most sought after destinations for holiday goers in recent years, and it’s easy to see why.

Mountains dotted with beautifully colourful houses line the seafront, where crystal clear waters await, an abundance of Churches and historical landmarks make up the unforgettable Amalfi Coast, with it’s winding mountain road connecting the 13 towns, it really is somewhere to tick off your bucket list!

Why visit the Amalfi coast

The food, the mild Mediterranean climate, picturesque seaside towns and historical legacy…if it’s the dolce vita you are looking for, then you have found it.

The main reason most holiday goers find themselves in Amalfi is for the beautiful views, it truly is the perfect place to wander around. Often spoken about as one place, the Amalfi coast and the towns within it are actually very diverse, with each one bringing it’s own charm and character to the table. Whether it’s hiking, swimming and sailing, or shopping sunbathing and a spritz your looking for, there really is something for everyone.

Historically the Amalfi coast as we know it today looked very different, with the construction of the terraced landscape not beginning until the 12th and 13th century, created originally by monasteries.

The town of Amalfi itself dates back to the medieval times in which it embraced great success as one of the major Mediterranean trade routes. It’s thanks to this great success that even today we can still admire the breath taking architecture and landmarks once built.

Top 5 things to do in the Amalfi Coast

Now that you’ve settled on your trip to the Amalfi Coast, I’m sure your already planning your days in this beautiful, historical part of Southern Italy. Here we have included our absolute top 5 things to do in the Amalfi Coast

  1. It wouldn’t be a trip to Italy without an Aperitivo and the San Pietro of Positano is the perfect place to indulge yourself. If you’d like a little more than just an Aperitivo it is also a beautiful place to stay, La Bellavita Charter can arrange any boat tours you may wish for and pick you up from Hotels beach.

A trendy cocktail bar, offering great drinks and good times.
  4. When in Italy it’s only right to indulge yourselves in the world renowned cuisine, this next place is the Casa Mandina Restaurant in Maiori. A contemporary restaurant offering traditional dishes with a new age spin, opened in 2019 by two young brothers.
  5. Not only is the Amalfi Coast famous for its striking seafood, it also has an abundance of sweet treats to taste to. Nowhere better to tame your sweet tooth than Pansa in Amalfi a historical Pasticceria dating back to 1830, they have all the traditional dolce your heart could wish for.

When to visit the Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi coast is beautiful all year round, but April-June is undoubtedly the best time for your trip. The weather is warm enough to see all sights, whether that be by sea or land. The spring flowers have sprung and there is a new sense of warmth in the air, without the hustle and bustle from the crowds of the high season.

If however you love nightlife and festivals and are looking to join the fun, then July and August are definitely the months for you. These are the months in which most of the local events take place. Do remember that even even if you are planning to visit during the busiest months, you can still enjoy the coast in peace with one of our charter boats.

September is also a great time to visit the Amalfi coast, the weather is still pleasantly warm and many of the tourists have already left.

The winter months, running from November until Easter are by far the quietest of the year. The towns empty almost completely and along with this lots of the cafés, bars and restaurants close for a much needed break. The coastline has an even more dramatic look to it in these months with the wet weather and waves crashing against the cliff side homes.

How to get to the Amalfi Coast

There are many ways to reach the Amalfi Coast, by car, train and of course plane.

The airport in Naples is the closest if flying in directly, or if your travelling from another destination in Italy then you can reach Salerno. One of Italy’s railway stations with many fast-speed trains arriving from most major cities, from Salerno you can hop on a local train that takes you to Vietri Sul Mare, one of the 13 towns located in the Amalfi Coast (approximate 10 minute train journey).

If your arriving directly in Naples you can rent a car and make the journey yourselves from there, the Amalfi Coast is one of the world’s most famous road trips and ttravellin along it truly is an unforgettable experience.

A word of advice: if you do decide on renting a car and making the journey yourself, do be mindful that the roads of the Amalfi Coast can be extremely narrow, full of twists and turns with it’s many curves that you are often time required to reverse around. This is especially true during the high summer season and even more so on weekends!

If like me you’d rather sit back and enjoy the journey, I’d arrange private transfers ahead of time. Our experienced drivers are more than accustomed to the winding roads and will be sure your arrival is stress free, whether that be from Naples, Salerno or any other city you find yourself in!

Once you’ve arrived in the Amalfi Coast, again there are many ways you can travel to the various towns and sights, car, bus, boat and private transfer. My personal favourite is most definitely by boat, sit back and relax and take in the scenery without the hustle and bustle of the roads.

Whatever way you decide to travel, make sure to plan and book well in advance of your trip!

Where to stay in the Amalfi Coast

We promised to give you the inside scoop on your trip to the Amalfi Coast and we plan on sticking to or word! Most places will tell you that Positano is the best place to base your trip, but we think otherwise.

A short 15 minute drive from the busy Positano you will find the picturesque town of Praiano, with it’s 2000 residents, beautiful villas drenched in colour and quaint mountain top streets, it really is the perfect place to base your trip to Amalfi.

Although Praiano is a small town and still relatively unknown to many tourists, there an abundance of things to do. Whether that be relaxing on one of it’s crystalline beaches, wandering the flower filled streets or taking in some of the historical sights I am certain you will love it.

We highly recommend SMAAC – Smart Accommodations Amalfi Coast with their wide range of holiday rentals, homes, farmhouses and villas and apartments on the Amalfi Coast. The perfect choice for all your accommodation needs, whatever it is your looking for.

They offer a tailored service throughout the booking process and for the duration of your stay. They can help with all aspects of your trip from organising taxi’s, boat tours, wine tasting and a whole range of other experiences to incorporate into your trip. We also love the self check-in aspect they offer, allowing for privacy and complete relaxation during your trip.

Don’t forget to mention our top 5 things to do in the Amalfi Coast when booking your holiday with them, I’m certain they can make all your plans come to life!

Top 4 things to do in Praiano

This peaceful town has a long history, and remnants of the past can still be seen with towers and castles that once stood still visible and possible to visit. The top 4 things to do in Praiano are:

Things to know about Capri Island

Posted

Insiders picks for most breath taking sights, mouth-watering restaurants and how to organise your day: All you need to know about Capri Island for the perfect trip.

Capri Island, located in the bay of Naples, is most definitely a must see when planning your trip to Southern Italy. Known for it’s dramatic landscape, shopping, dining and most famously the “Blue Grotto” a dark cavern in which the sea glows electric blue, it really is no wonder why it’s such a hot spot for passing Yachts.

One important thing to know about Capri Island is that one day is certainly enough to see the island, there are of course a number of beautiful hotels if you’d like a little longer of your time there, but organising in advance and trusting your trip with an experienced Charter Yatch company you will be sure to see everything you want, without taking too much time away from the rest of your trip in the Amalfi Coast.

Opting for a full day private tour, with an estimated duration of 7 hours you will be able to visit to famous Blue grotto, the Grotta Bianca, Grotta Verde, Faraglioni and the Natural Arch. You can also have time exploring the Island on foot with a dock in Capri, giving you the opportunity to grab some lunch and have a wander of the beautiful streets.

If you do decide to include a dock in Capri, do be sure to visit Il Riccio. An exclusive beach club with a beautiful terrace, stairs to the sea, and exquisite seafood and Mediterranean menu available.

If you’d rather opt out of docking in Capri, be sure to check out one of our insiders picks for lunch instead, both reachable directly via sea with one of our yatchs, on request of course!

The Restaurant Lo Scoglio by Tommaso has been in the family for three generations dating back to 1958. A charming structure with beauty terraces overlooking the sea, with an array of typical local dishes and to top it all off it’s own private beach.

Another of our absolute favourites for lunch is La Fontalina this beautiful waterfront restaurant dates back to 1949, offering a spectacular view of the ‘Faraglioni’. The menu on offer including the best of the catch of the day and chef Mario’s daily specials is sure to leave you wanting more.

If you would rather organise your own tour we recommend arriving to the Island as early as possible, aim to arrive in Capri by 11am…this allows enough time to squeeze in all the sightseeing you will be doing!

Insiders picks for the perfect day trip to Capri Island

You can’t say you’ve visited Capri if you haven’t seen it from the sea. Admire the colors of the sea, the small bays and the splendid caves on board a private Yacht on a tour of the Island of Capri.

The unmissable passing under the Faraglioni arch: it is said that all couples who exchange a kiss under the arch will remain together forever.

After having passed by the Marina Piccola, a stretch particularly rich in caves begins, such as the White Grotto and Green Grotto rightfully named so due to the emerald colours. At this point you will get the first glimpse of the imposing profile of the Punta Carena lighthouse, the second largest in Italy.

After the lighthouse you return to the north side of the Island of Capri, the wildest and most uninhabited. Keep your eyes open and lookout for some wild goats living amongst the wild vegetation. It is on this side of the island that you will find the famous Blue Grotto.

The unforgettable ‘Grotta Azzurra’

Once onboard a small rowing boat the sailor will ask you to lie down on the bottom of the boat, anchoring the boat to the rock…and you are inside the Blue Grotto. A natural cave whose entrance is roughly two meters wide and only one meter high, it’s no wonder you have to lay down to enter! A natural underwater window lets the sun rays in, which colors the cave with the most magnificent blue and silver reflections. It will seem as though you are suspended over the waters of the Blue Grotto, accompanied by the Neapolitan songs of the sailors. A magical and truly unforgettable atmosphere that easily explains why this is Capri’s most famous attraction.

Anacapri and Monte Solaro: the highest part of the island, less glamorous where you can breathe the true essence of Capri

After visiting the blue grotto, experience the thrill of a ride in one of Capri’s typical convertible taxis to reach Anacapri. Small artisan shops, flower filled squares and completely pedestrian stone alleys: this and much more is what awaits in Anacapri.

Your island tour still has so much to offer you: one of the most incredible views of Capri. From Piazza Vittoria in Anacapri, take a ride on the traditional chairlift. In just 12 minutes you reach Monte Solaro, the highest point of the island. From which you can enjoy an infinite view, the whole island of Capri, the famous Vesuvius, the Gulf of Naples and the Sorrento Peninsula. In the far distance the mountains of Calabria, the Apennines and the Amalfi Coast with the islets of the Gauls.

Villa San Michele: the Mediterranean dream of Swedish Author/physician.

At this point in your trip you have the chance to take a break and grab a snack on the go while you continue on your itinerary with a stop to the beautiful Villa San Michele.

Villa San Michele is the life’s work of physician/author Axel Munthe, built j the 20th century it is now home to an extremely important art collection, the majority of which is of Roman, Etruscan or Egyptian origin. Complete with a beautiful panoramic garden and open to the public ibis definitely worth the visit!

La Piazzetta: the most glamorous part of Capri Island

Take a bus and make your way back down to Capri, once arrived in the Piazzetta take a seat at one of the many bars, and enjoy a well deserved coffee or glass of wine after a long morning of sightseeing.

After a break in the beautiful Piazzetta, take a walk around the characteristic Via Camerelle, the main luxury shopping street with a wide range of beautiful stores to take in. At the end of this street, continue onto Via Tragara until you finally reach the spectacular view of the Faraglioni, the perfect opportunity to take some beautiful scenic photos!

Once you’ve finished taking in the sights and snapping the perfect pictures, go back the way you came along Via Tragara, until you make your way back to the Piazzetta. From here make your way back down to the port where your luxury Yatch awaits to set sail from the Island.

When back on board there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sea, take a refreshing dip in the ocean, or just lay back, relax and enjoy the view

We really hope this guide is useful for you, whether you decide to plan your trip around Capri Island alone, or whether you’d rather trust your trip with our experienced Charter Yatch company. One thing to definitely bare in mind if you do decide to go alone is that this itinerary can be extremely tiring, especially in the hottest months of July and August, in which time we would recommend cutting the itinerary down and making the most of your time on island by the beach or in the water!

3 Days Itinerary Capri – Positano – Sorrento

Posted

3 ways to… fall in love! Enjoy the magic atmosphere of a 3 days itinerary Capri – Positano – Sorrento for a once in a lifetime experience! As the saying goes: “Come in Italy and you will never want to leave!”.

Let’s start from the beginning. It is of common knowledge that the Amalfi Coast is recognizable and even criticized for its streets which are now too busy to travel without getting stuck between cars, scooters and bicycles. This is why nowadays our concern is to help you getting back the freedom of being able to experience at the best your journey.

The perfect 360 experience is a Boat Tour on the Amalfi Coast

For those who want to have a 360 degree experience, the best advice that I wish to know sooner, although particular in its simplicity, is a boat tour on the Amalfi Coast, or an even better option, add to it an overnight stay on board, for a full immersion in the heart of the Amalfi coast and the Sorrento Peninsula.

It will be hard to forget the feelings of sleeping in the middle of the sea.

La Bellavita Charter owns one of the best way to fully live at the best such experience. A unique fleet, helpful to enjoy these famous coasts, which contributed to creating fishing villages, that still exist today, with characteristic churches, houses built on the rocks and streets that are so narrow, to say the least, but full of this panorama that fascinates anyone who comes to visit them.

The gem of the fleet, Lady Rose, a Magnum of 52 feet, is the perfect boat to sightsee the coast. Coming on board means you will have the opportunity to choose your destinations, the place you want to visit, the restaurants where you want to eat, all of your choice, guided by an expert skipper who will be able to help you during the whole cruise. Avoiding the queues, the crowd and enjoying the soft breeze, more than pleasant on hot summer days.

Dinner is on the table!

Another valuable option might include the most romantic experience you will ever have, dinner on board. It will make you hope that the evening will never end. It is the best choice to spend day and night with your sweet half or with your family, trust me you will gain a lot of points with it.

3 days to explore, 3 gems to visit, 3 foods to taste

Usually the itineraries that try to help you during your visit of the Amalfi Coast are always confused. That is why this little guide helps, especially with La Bellavita Charter that comes to our rescue, offering the best tours on Luxury Boats or traditional Gozzo Boats to visit the most iconic villages of the Amalfi Coast.

As every itinerary, also this one is going to be equipped with those little secrets, hidden in every suggestion we give you along this section, from which you can achieve that type of inner peace that allows you to understand the true essence of the Amalfi coast.

Positano: the vertical city.

A paradise called Positano it’s the ideal place for a dream vacation among beautiful beaches, picturesque houses and charming boats on the Amalfi Coast.

Positano, known as the vertical city, with its small houses that form a pyramid, set on the rock overlooking the sea, which enhance the evocative landscape, is now the distinctive feature of the city if not also of the Amalfi coast.

If you like a good hike, you can start the day with the Path of the Gods, a 3 hours walk (each way if you decide to go back hiking) that connects Agerola to Nocelle (Positano), and has the best views of the Coast. The name, with which this naturalistic route is called, derives from historical facts and legends according to which the Greek divinities passed through here to save Ulysses from the sirens who were on the island of Li Galli, island located in front of Positano, in fact it is visible on days of clear sky. After such an outing, relax by the beach to try to get a some tan.

Of course lunch at La Buca di Bacco is a must, where you are going to taste the most delicious food of your life, and your taste buds will have an incredible explosion of authentic flavors. Have then a walk to visit the church of Santa Maria Assunta and admire the 10th century architecture.

There are a few spots from where you will have the best view you have ever seen:

After the aperitif, take every chance to eat Da Vincenzo, at Palazzo Murat or at La Sponda (Sirenuse’s restaurant, so you can stay there both for aperitif) for dinner, trust me you wont regret it, before going wild in one of the most evocative discos on the coast, set in the rocks, from which it also takes its name: Music On the Rocks.

There are beaches famous all over the world as: Marina Grande and Marina Piccola, Bagni della Regina Giovanna, worth the walk for the landscape and the presence of the nearby Roman Villa of Pollio Felice, and Pignatella beach, less touristic and where more locals for its privicy.
